Prisha Seva Trust, Manipal-Udupi, organized a half day workshop on the topic “Success-How to Set and Achieve Goals” on 16th November, 2019 at Vidya Vardhaka High School and Jr. College for the students of 10th, 1st PUC and 2nd PUC. JCI National Trainer Rajesh Shenoy was the resource person.
Importance of Goal setting to achieve the desired results in studies as well as in life was extensively explained to the students through visual presentations and fun activities to make the learning process easier and more effective. Speaker also spoke about time management on daily basis and during exams, visualization of concepts and note taking methods. Rajesh concluded that proper planning, execution by students and guidance from teachers would lead towards better scores in exams.
Principal Sudarshan Rao, President of the Trust D V Shettigar and Secretary Nagaraj Kateel were present on this occasion. Principal in his inaugural address opined that such workshops are essential for the students of rural area and gives a better exposure to students. About 120 students of the college have benefited from this workshop. At the end there was an interactive session with the students. The programme commenced with a short prayer from students and was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Teacher Prabhakar Shetty welcomed the gathering, Secretary Nagaraj Kateel briefed about on activities of the trust and its importance. Lecturer Prakash Naik compered the program.

ಪ್ರಶಾ ಸೇವಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಮಣಿಪಾಲ-ಉಡುಪಿಯು "ಗುರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಸೂತ್ರಗಳು" ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 16 ರಂದು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಅರ್ಧ ದಿನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ 10 ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಯುಸಿಯ 130 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಜೆಸಿಐ ತರಬೇತುದಾರ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಶೆಣೈ ಅವರು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಶೆಣೈ ತಮ್ಮ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಗುರಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಟದ ವಿಧಾನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ದೈನಂದಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮತ್ತು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆ, ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್ರವರು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಯೋಜನೆ, ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನವು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅಂಕ ಗಳಿಸಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಸುದರ್ಶನ್ ರಾವ್, ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಿ ವಿ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗಾರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಕಟೀಲ್, ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಸುದರ್ಶನ ರಾವ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಿ ವಿ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗಾರ್ ಇವರು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
